Help students make progress now and prepare for what follows.

The Learning Future Academy was created around a simple idea: students often need more than subject explanations alone.

Academic performance matters, but so do confidence, study direction and informed decisions about the future. Our aim is to provide practical support that connects these areas rather than treating them as completely separate.

For tutoring, that means focused online support in GCSE English and Maths. For students thinking about their next step, it means access to academic and career guidance that can help them understand options and make more deliberate choices.

Clear expectations from the start. We explain what support we can provide, agree the priorities and focus on structured teaching, practice and feedback without guaranteeing a particular grade or outcome.

Co-Founder & Tutor

Qasim Isan

Qasim is a final-year LLB (Hons) Law student at the University of Edinburgh, currently predicted a First-Class degree, with more than five years of tutoring experience and two years of one-to-one mentoring experience. Alongside tutoring, he mentors aspiring university applicants, supporting students with applications, personal statements, interview preparation and confidence-building.

During his degree, Qasim completed an undergraduate exchange at York University in Toronto, Canada, studying within an American-style graduate-level law programme. He is pursuing a career as a commercial solicitor and has gained practical legal experience through a commercial-law vacation scheme, alongside insight programmes, open days and internships with a range of leading UK and international firms.

That combination of teaching, mentoring and professional exposure informs his approach to both tutoring and academic guidance: clear explanations, structured practice, realistic goals and practical advice about the routes available after school.
